Mr. Kahn’s recent notable cases include:
- Defense of client facing federal fraud charges stemming from a fraudulent art auction scheme. Client faced 18 years in federal prison, Mr. Kahn successfully negotiated a sentence of 24 months in a minimum security facility.
- After two trials in Los Angeles Superior Court, dismissal of all charges against a man charged with arson and 3 counts of attempted murder. The District Attorney alleged that the client attempted to murder his family by burning the house down while they slept.
- Client, a prolific computer hacker, stood accused of unlawfully accessing the 911 emergency system for Anchorage, Alaska and taking the entire system offline for a period of time. Mr. Kahn successfully negotiated a probationary sentence with no time in federal prison.
- Dismissal of first degree murder charges after trial in Los Angeles Superior Court. Client accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from victim and then orchestrating her murder.
- Defense of a client accused of attempted murder in Los Angeles County. Client was wrongly accused of beating victim with metal pole, Mr. Kahn immediately intervened with the police, gathered evidence, and prevented charges from being filed.
